I am sure there are many out there that can
knock these two off of the list! Come on in on
Wednesday and show them how the game is played!

The banquet is scheduled for November 12
but we need people to pay their fees so we can hold
it. Please see Doug to pay your fees and get more
information about the banquet.

Cards are going on every Friday. If you
would like to join the second half after the holidays,
please stop in or call Abe for more information.
This is always a good time for everyone.

Well it is Veterans Day again very soon.
We have had several items already donated to us for
the annual visit to the VA Hospital patients. On the
front cover we listed the items we are in need of.
Mostly I would like to stress the need for socks.
Many of the patients are in their bare feet if
someone did not bring them a pair of slippers.
Some of these men who served our country are
coming into the hospital off of the street or have no
family to help them. If you can find it in your time
and budget to stop by the dollar store and pick of a
6 pack or more of socks, you can help make that
many people more comfortable. We break up the
packs to give each patient at least one pair. Do not
think that you have to spend a lot. Every little bit
helps.

Our annual Thanksgiving dinner is coming
up. Please let us know by phone or stop in and sign
up to volunteer.

We will be giving the Fire Department more
Tommy Moose for the kids that are affected by a
traumatizing experience. Watch for details, we
hope to get them to bring the fire truck and the kids
can check it out!

We will be collecting items for our annual
Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to be given to
families in need in the Attleboro area. There are
many families in need these days. Please drop off
your non-perishable items at the lodge.

First of all I would like to thank Neil
LaValley and Tom and Dawn Courchesne for their
help at the Moose Legion Breakfast last month and
the people that came out to support us. Our next
breakfast will be on Sunday November 20th from 8
– 11 AM. The modest cost of $5 helps us to cover
the food and raise a few dollars to help out our
Lodge.

On October 22nd, our Governor Neil
LaValley, our Jr. Governor Dan Corcoran and
myself attended the quarterly Minute Men #28
Moose Legion Celebration at the Woburn MFC.
There was a class of 19 candidates that were raised
to the higher degree, the Degree of Service. I would
like to see someone from our lodge become a
Moose Legionnaire at our next celebration.
Our weekly Pool Tournament for bragging
rights has started back up. Your $3 donation to play
goes to Moose Charities from our Moose Legion
Committee. It starts at 7PM on Wednesdays.
Come on down and join the fun!

Our next meeting will be on November 8th\
at 6 PM. All Moose members are welcomed to
attend and hear what we have going on.
